Codes of Conduct
An educational institution cannot run successfully without moral base. Keeping this vital point in the mind our institution takes step to erect some codes of conduct applicable to all stakeholders differently. We are compelled to follow the syllabi made by our parent university but our institutional guideline, which is known as curriculum, makes both teachers and students follow the syllabi as well as so many co- curricular activities for building all round development of the students. For smooth function of the institution a proper coordination is required among the teachers, students, official staff and administrators which can be had merely through the code of conduct made and supervised by a committee erected in the meeting of Teachers’ council.
Code of Conduct for Teachers
- Every teacher must update his/her skills and knowledge professionally so that they can fulfil students ‘curiosity.
- The teachers must maintain the decorum while dealing with the students, teaching and official staff each and every time.
- The teacher should strive for excellence in academic and research and evolve as a role model for the students.
- The teacher shall always encourage the students to participate in curricular and co-curricular activities for proper socialisation.
- The teacher should not discriminate any student based on the caste, creed, language, and place of origin, social and cultural background.
- The teacher should not be absent from the duties assigned at any time without prior permission.
- The teacher should not engage in any unlawful activities and should not violate the norms of decency or morality in the behaviour, inside and outside the campus.
- The teachers are expected to be impartial in the assessment/evaluation of students’performance.
Code of Conduct for students
- The students must be conversant with the rules and regulations of our institution and aware of the syllabi which they have to be gone through.
- The students should treat all other students, faculty members, staff, visitors and even any other outsiders with respect, dignity, impartiality, courtesy and sensitivity.
- All students must display their identity cards when available within the campus and also whenever asked for by any security personnel of the Institute.
- The students should not become involved in any form of ragging within or outside the Campus.
- The students should not possess/consume any narcotics or alcohol within the campus, and Smoking in the campus is strictly prohibited.
- Students must not damage or destruct any properties of the institution.
- Student should not discriminate any other fellow student based on the caste, creed, language, and place of origin, social and cultural background.
Code of Conduct for official staff
- All the official staff should perform their duties efficiently, as per the requirement and norms of the institution.
- The official staff must ensure a cordial relationship with the teaching faculty, students, administrators and outsiders for the smooth running of the Institution.
- No discrimination should be performed by the official staff to any stakeholders as well as outsiders based on the caste, creed, language, and place of origin, social and cultural background.
- The official staff should strive hard to improve their technical and non -technical skills related to their job to make the institution perfect in modern era.
- The official staff should not be absent from the duties without the prior permission of the authorities.
- The staff should not involve either directly or indirectly in any form of business /external assignments during their service, in any unethical activities that cause hindrance to the harmony of the Institution.
- The staff must not cause any damage to the properties of the Institution and shall maintain the morality of the individual both inside and outside the campus.
Code of Conduct for administrators
- Ensure that all the students, academic employees and supporting staff are dealt with courtesy and respect and uphold the values of the organization.
- Be fully conversant with the Policies, rules, regulations and requirements of the Institution and should be prepared to implement them.
- Ensure that the duties assigned to the stakeholders are appropriate to the qualification, experience and skills of the stakeholders.
- Ensure that the goals of the Institution are well disseminated across the stakeholders and the activities planned in the institution are towards achieving the targets.
- Exercise caution to avoid partiality and should not involve or encourage in any kind of activities that cause any disrupt among the stakeholders, keep away from showing authoritarian attitude.
