Title of the Practice : Shifting of College Library to New Building

Goal : To provide more space for books and readers.

The Context : Due to increase in number of books and journals, it became necessary to shift the library to a more spacious place.

The Practice : With the help of librarians and ‘Movers and Packers’ all the books and journals along with the furniture were placed carefully to new building and rearranged all the things with a very short span off time.

Evidences of Success : The sufficient space For the book racks made it possible to arrange the books in proper way and library has become very much airy.

Problems encountered and resources required : Lack of man-power is the only problem to maintain such a huge library.

Title of the Practice : Student Vaccination.

Goal : As a part of social accountability, the college has organised COVID vaccination camp for students.

The Context : To make students immune from the COVID 19 virus.

The Practice : In Association with the CMOH, Hooghly district and the assistance received from the SDO office, the college has organised vaccination camp on 17.10.2021.

Evidences of Success : More than 350 students have taken either first dose or second dose vaccine.

Problems encountered and resources required : Many students have denied to take vaccine despite orientation programs organised by the faculty. In terms of the resources required, the CMOH and SDO office has given assistance.
